When you have Celiac disease, there are things you’re not supposed to eat. Even more so when you’re also allergic to gluten. So what do you eat when you have both? As many of you know, I have Celiac disease and I haven’t eaten bread in many, many years. It has been made known to me, through my own research that I am allergic to gluten and I stopped eating bread in a regular basis and what I have recently started doing is actually going G-free. Every once in a while, cheat and eat a little bit but I know it was really, really bad for my health. I started coming on with really bad, itchy rashes, and I came down with (…) systemic gas – I could squeeze parts of my body and not burp.
And what I wanted to do is just share my breakfast with you today. This is gluten-free bread that my husband made for me with Paloma or fruit spread on it, and that’s what I’m going to have for breakfast, and I’m going to have a cup of green tea as well.
When you go g-free, when you go gluten free as someone who needs to avoid gluten – primarily people who are type O’s blood type and people who are A to a less degree, you need to remember what not to eat. But for the most part, you’ll want to find things that you could do, that you could make and so I went on to the supermarket and I found pastas, bread flour, rice flour, potato flour, soy flour and I put them together and made my own dumplings, my own food that I enjoy eating to achieve optimum health. I am working on doing that by eating a lot of fruits and vegetables and just to eat in accordance with your blood type.
I found that out ten years ago, and I’ve been doing that ever since and I’ve shared with few other people and it’s really, really important that you do that for real optimum health, is to eat in accordance with your blood type.
So on the blog I’ll put the books that I’ve got the information out of on my book page. But I just wanted to share this with you this morning.
