WHY YOU SHOULD HYDRATE YOUR BODY WITH PURE WATER

About ten years ago, there was a big craze on drinking bottled water. Everybody started drinking water because everybody wanted to be healthy, and that’s so important.

I’ve been having doing that for over thirty years, I’m 48 years old, going on 49 and I have been living in accordance with the Eight Laws of Health. The eight laws of health was introduced by a group – I forgot the name of the company, and they have different acronyms but the one that I like to share with you is called NEWSTART.

To break down the acronym, the “N” stands for nutrition, the “E” is for exercise, the “W” is water, the “S” is sunshine, the first “T” is temperance or avoiding things that are bad for me, bad for the body, the “A” stands for air because we need fresh air, “R” stands for rest – getting adequate sleep and the last “T” stands for trust in God or the Divine Power because we can do all the things, and if we don’t have the god of this universe involved in maintaining our health, we have nothing.

My weight, I am now 145 at the time of writing, and following the theory about water is our bodies are 70% water, 75% fluid and in order to maintain proper skin, weight, we need to drink a correct amount of water based on what the body’s needs are and what I follow is drinking half my body weight in ounces.

I started my water drinking first thing in the morning – probably about 32 ounces and that gets my elimination going – I’m talking about crap when I say elimination. When you go to the bathroom, when you drink water first thing in the morning and it’s a little warm, it’s not cold – and I like my water at room temperature because I need to drink much more and it helps me to eliminate first thing in the morning, it cleanses your system. It’s like taking a shower.

If we drink juice, soda, cool-aid, beer, wine and some other energy drinks and what have you and we don’t drink pure water, the body is not getting hydrated. Everything, that stuff we drink besides pure water, it goes through a different part of the body’s system. It goes to the liver. When we drink water, it just goes right through the digestive system and it goes down to the urine and cleanses the system, it nurtures and it helps the body be hydrated.

People who have dry skin and dry lips and other things is an indicator that our body needs to be hydrated. If you have a plant, what happens when they don’t get enough water? They start limping and the leaves start falling. You want to be able to nourish and hydrate your body with enough water and allow your body to do what it needs to do. And supplement – you can’t just drink water, you have to supplement and make sure that your body is in balance and everything that should be done in moderation. The rule that I follow is to drink half my body weight in ounces and you should follow the same too, to be able to assist you in getting optimum health.

So I just wanted to share with you why I drink water, why water is important for you, I’m going to continue with this series and talk a little but about nutrition and some other tips on health as we continue talking about you getting optimum
