3 BENEFITS OF DRINKING WATER

Hi this is Cheryl Jordan and I wanted to talk to you about water today – the importance, the benefits, how to have a long life drinking water. And water is actually my beverage of choice when it comes to beverages, and you’re probably wondering – why should you drink water? What are the long-term benefits of drinking water?

Water has the ability to replenish the cells and allow the body to recover. The body is actually made up of 75% water. And if we drink other beverages like soda, juice, coffee and other things that causes the body to turn towards acid state and disease causing issues on the skin and other things. So the best beverage of choice and you better agree with me, but whether you agree with me or not, it is true. The best beverage of choice is drinking pure water. And so, I just want to share with you two of the benefits that you can have from drinking water. One of the things is that it helps to hydrate your cells. Each of our cells need water in order to be hydrated as well. We also need water to hydrate our joints. Some people might have arthritis, problems with their joints or what-have-you’s because they’re not drinking enough water and their joints are achy and different things like that. Another huge benefit from drinking water is elimination. Your body has the ability to eliminate fickle matter daily. So the more water you drink, the more it helps transit – the transit of food coming into and out of your body much faster when you drink water. When you drink other beverages, it tends to slow the process down because beverages get processed through the kidneys and the liver, whereas water goes right through the digestive system and comes out allowing you to have better colon health. I drink two to three of my water bottles’ worth of water each day – that should be half of your body weight in ounces. That is how you benefit from drinking water.
